Detailed resin accessory, the CH-54A (S-64E) Tarhe cockpit, Detailed edition 1:35 from Reskit. It is not a helicopter model but an upgrade cockpit for the ICM CH-54 kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detailed upgrade, not a complete model of the helicopter. It is a resin, largely 3D-printed cockpit in the Detailed edition, in 1:35 scale from Reskit, intended for the CH-54A Tarhe plastic kit from ICM. The set replaces the cockpit of the base kit with a more faithful and finer rendering of the crew compartment: instrument panels, seats and controls. A separate ICM CH-54A base kit is required to use it.
The Sikorsky CH-54 Tarhe (designated S-64 Skycrane, or S-64E, in its civil version) is a heavy crane helicopter with a characteristic open fuselage frame and no cargo compartment. It was powered by two turbine engines and served with the US Army, among other things during the war in Vietnam, to carry heavy loads and container modules and to recover downed equipment. Civil variants are still used today, for example for fighting fires.
The accessory is intended for more experienced modelers. Wash the parts free of any mold release agent, separate them carefully from the print supports and casting blocks and clean them up. When sanding resin, protect your airways and ventilate the room. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint and assemble the fine interior detail before the fuselage is closed; bring the instrument panels out with dry-brushing and a fine wash so that they read clearly.
This is a detailed upgrade for a build, not a complete model. A separate ICM CH-54A Tarhe base kit is required to use it. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
