This resin accessory set in 1:35 scale contains a set of cylindrical containers for propellant charges and of ammunition boxes for the 155 mm self-propelled howitzer M109 in the A1 to A4 versions. It is detail equipment for more experienced modelers, not a vehicle kit on its own.
Propellant containers are transport and storage vessels in which the charges for large-caliber howitzers are brought to the gun. In reality they are stored in the hull of the vehicle and around the firing position. The set therefore fills the interior of the hull splendidly, completes the external stowage of the vehicle or livens up a diorama of an artillery position and gives a scene both scale and military authenticity.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with a few drops of dish soap to remove any mold release residue. Separate the casting blocks carefully with a saw or a cut, and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For painting, a basic olive or sand shade suits, according to the army being depicted, followed by washes and pigments to bring out edges, dust and scuffs.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
