An injection-molded plastic kit of the American Dodge WC-54 vehicle in the Military Police form in 1:35 scale from the Czech brand Bilek. It is a reissue of a proven older mold on the all-wheel-drive Dodge chassis. The box contains decals for military police markings. The model is a rewarding addition to displays and dioramas of Allied vehicles.
The Dodge WC-54 was an American light utility vehicle with all-wheel drive and a load capacity of roughly three-quarters of a ton, part of the extensive Dodge WC range of vehicles. The version with a closed box body was most often used as an ambulance, but vehicles of this range also served other tasks in the rear areas, including police and signals duties. The Dodge WC range was popular for its reliability and off-road ability and became one of the workhorses of the American army of the Second World War.
This is an older mold, so allow for more careful cleaning of the seams and fitting of the parts. Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies; finish and paint the chassis and the cab before final assembly. Apply primer before painting and spray with an airbrush. Bring the military olive shade to life with a wash in the recesses and pigments for dust and mud effects; place the military police decals only onto a dry finish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
