This is an aftermarket detail accessory, not a kit of the vehicle. The set from Quinta Studio contains 3D-printed resin tires with snow chains fitted, for vehicles of the Dodge WC family in 1:35 scale. Replacing the original wheels gives the model a markedly more faithful tread pattern and a three-dimensional rendition of the chains, which injection-molded parts often lack. It follows the dimensions of the Zvezda kit.
Chains on the wheels evoke service in the winter and muddy conditions of the Eastern Front and of other theaters. The accessory is meant to raise the realism of the running gear and suits winter-themed dioramas in particular.
First wash any print resin residue off the parts and cut them from the print supports. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The tires are best painted in rubber shades with pigment soiling, and the chains in a metal shade with a hint of corrosion.
This is an accessory. It does not include the model of the vehicle itself, glue or paints.
