Empty US 75 mm cartridge cases (Sherman), 1:35, are a resin accessory from the Firma49 brand for bringing dioramas with American armored vehicles to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a vehicle kit but a resin (3D printed) set of spent brass cases of the American 75 mm tank caliber in 1:35 scale. It serves for dressing dioramas, fighting positions and the interiors of armored vehicles – cases scattered beside a vehicle or in a turret give a scene life and suggest that firing is going on.
The 75 mm gun was the main weapon of a number of American medium tanks of the Second World War. After firing, the empty brass case was ejected and piled up beside the mount or outside the vehicle. It is exactly these spent cases that the set faithfully captures as a typical detail of a battlefield.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap and separate them from the support blocks. Place the small cases with tweezers and fix them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). A golden metallic shade will imitate brass; a light darkening, a wash and fine weathering will add realism. Place them irregularly for a natural effect.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
