The Fiat 508 CM Coloniale was a military derivative of the civilian 508 C. Thanks to reinforced construction, larger tires, and good mechanical reliability, it suited demanding terrain, especially in North Africa. It served mainly as a staff and liaison vehicle for officers and for reconnaissance tasks in open country.
First finish the chassis, interior, and body, and only then fine-tune the seating of the crew. Use thin cement on the plastic, treat the surface with a primer, and apply the paint with an airbrush; paint the figures with a brush, focusing on faces and uniform shading. Bring the North African hardware's sandy finish to life with dust pigments and a light wash.
