A set of small bricks in 1:35 scale for building and finishing dioramas. A base, paints and glue are not included in the package.

Bricks in 1:35 scale are among the building elements of dioramas and vignettes. They will serve in building masonry, a chimney, a stove or a smithy hearth, and they also look good as a ruin, a buttress at the entrance to a workshop or as stacked building material by a wall. Because these are separate small parts, you put the bond together exactly as the scene is meant to look and are not tied to a ready-made sheet of masonry.
Cut any excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the remainder back carefully. Before gluing and painting, wash the parts and let them dry thoroughly, otherwise the paint holds unevenly. Try the glue on one piece aside first. Always lay the bond out dry on the base first and only then glue; afterward fill the joints with putty or with the compound you use for terrain.
Firebricks have a light, yellowish tone on the real thing, which sets them apart from ordinary red masonry. Apply the base shade in thin coats, so that the texture of the surface stays visible. The masonry comes to life from several close shades applied to randomly chosen pieces. Bring out the joints with a dark wash, the edges with a nearly dry brush, and finally add dust and soot with pigments according to whether the structure is in use or abandoned.
The set is for builders of dioramas in 1:35 scale who want masonry put together from individual bricks. Paints, glue, putty, a base and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
