The G7117 was an American truck of the 1.5 ton class with 4x4 drive, one of the widely used types of Allied logistics in the Second World War. Vehicles of this family served for transport and as chassis for purpose-built bodies, and they were delivered to the Allies, including deliveries under Lend-Lease. The mobile workshop form carried equipment for repairing vehicles directly in the field; the trailer extended the capacity of the workshop.
Build and paint the chassis, the cab and the workshop interior first, and only then the body. The tools and the workshop equipment come into their own with separate painting and a wash.
