The GAZ-AAA with the QUAD M4 Maxim anti-aircraft mount is a plastic kit of the Soviet truck in 1:35 scale from MiniArt.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet three-axle truck GAZ-AAA with an anti-aircraft mount of four Maxim machine guns (M4) in 1:35 scale. The kit is richly broken down and contains photo-etched parts and clear parts. The exact number of parts is given on the box.
The GAZ-AAA was a three-axle truck of the Red Army on whose bed an anti-aircraft mount with four water-cooled Maxim machine guns of 7.62 mm caliber was fitted. This combination served for defense against low-flying aircraft and for fire support. Several thousand similar anti-aircraft machine gun mounts were in Red Army service during the war.
The kit has many small parts and photo-etch, so expect a patient build. Paint the engine and the chassis before the bed is closed up. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue and the plastic with a liquid modeling cement. Pick the machine guns and the mount out in detail with a wash and give the bed dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
