A set of resin figures of German mountain troops (Gebirgsjäger) in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker CMK. The figures suit mountain and broken-terrain dioramas of World War II. They are aimed rather at more experienced modelers.
The Gebirgsjäger were mountain light infantry trained for fighting in broken and high-mountain terrain. They were marked out by distinct gear adapted to moving in the mountains. The figures capture their typical appearance and stances. The treatment is historically factual and neutral, without judgment.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, carefully cut away the casting blocks and bond the parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the skin and gear with shading and tone the mountain equipment according to period references. Mountain scenes also take well to imitations of mud, snow and dust made with pigments.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
