This precisely turned metal barrel from the Polish manufacturer Aber is a replacement for the plastic barrel of the German 5 cm Pak 38 anti-tank gun in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a detail accessory – a metal part that gives the model a perfectly straight barrel with a sharp muzzle, which plastic cannot manage.
The 5 cm Pak 38 was a German anti-tank gun of the Second World War with a long barrel (a barrel length of L/60 calibers). It was committed from the early 1940s and was one of the mainstays of German anti-tank defense.
For modelers building the Pak 38 by Tamiya who want to raise the key element of the gun. The plastic barrel is cut off and the metal one is glued on with super glue.
This is an accessory, not a standalone kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
