A precisely turned metal 8.8 cm barrel of L/91 length for the E-75 development tank in 1:35 scale from the Polish manufacturer Aber. It is not a model but a detail accessory replacing the plastic barrel. Given the length of the barrel, metal is especially welcome here, because it keeps a perfectly straight, round profile with no parting seam.
The E-75 belonged to the German Entwicklung series of standardized development tanks, which stayed at the project stage and never reached series production. The lengthened L/91 barrel, derived from the proven 8.8 cm KwK 43 gun, was to raise penetration further. A model of the E-75 therefore falls into the category of so-called paper panzers.
The set is intended for models of the E-75 development tank in 1:35 scale. Cut off the plastic barrel, align the metal part and bond it with super glue. On a long barrel take care to align the axis precisely; degrease the surface before painting and apply a primer.
An accessory for a build, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
