Tamiya 1:35 German Soldiers at Rest is a set of four injection-molded plastic figures of German soldiers of the Second World War in resting poses, ideal as an accessory for dioramas and tank kits.

The set contains four complete figures of German infantrymen of the Second World War, shown unusually at rest away from the fighting. The soldiers are in the M36 pattern field uniform and the set also includes a range of accessories — helmets, a bayonet, ammunition pouches and small supply items. This is injection-molded polystyrene in 1:35 scale from the Japanese brand Tamiya; the figures come unassembled and unpainted.
The M36 uniform was part of the typical kit of the German infantry at the beginning and through the course of the war. Quiet poses — seated and resting figures — give a scene a more everyday, storytelling character than dynamic combat sets, which is why the set suits the depiction of rear areas, breaks between moves or an escort for armored vehicles.
Separate the parts carefully from the sprue and clean up the mold seams and flash. Glue with thin cement for plastic and leave the heads and hands loose for easier painting. We recommend a primer, building up the tones of the faces with acrylics and deepening the shadows with oils or thin washes. Matte down the uniform and the equipment at the end.
The figures come unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included unless stated otherwise.
