A set of four turned metal parts in 1:35 scale for a model of the German eight-wheeled Sd.Kfz.234 armored car. Metal replaces plastic parts that break easily.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Sd.Kfz.234 is a German heavy eight-wheeled armored car of the end of the Second World War. It had a monocoque hull with no separate frame, an air-cooled Tatra diesel engine and a second driving position at the rear, so it could reverse as fast as it went forward. It served mainly for reconnaissance, where speed and range counted rather than armor. The individual versions differed in armament; the version with an enclosed turret and a 5 cm gun is known under the designation Puma.
Four turned metal parts in 1:35 scale for a model of the Sd.Kfz.234. Metal accessories of this kind replace the small plastic parts that break when they are taken off the sprue, during masking and when a finished model is carried, and in metal they are thinner than anything that could be molded. What exactly the parts are for on the model and where they belong is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Try the seating dry first. If a part has a shank, drill a hole to match its diameter and check that the part stands square, because a detail fitted crooked draws more attention than its absence would. Bond it with a tiny drop of gel super glue or with epoxy, which still allows the position to be adjusted; cement for polystyrene will not join metal. Before painting, wash the metal, degrease it with alcohol and go over it with a base coat for metal. It pays to fit small parts only after the base painting and weathering, otherwise masking tape pulls them off easily.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
