The Solothurn S-18/1000 anti-tank rifle with a wheeled carriage is a resin set in 1:35 scale. A faithful model of the anti-tank rifle, not a vehicle kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set from the Czech maker CMK captures the heavy Solothurn S-18/1000 anti-tank rifle, with the option of building it either on its firing support or on a two-wheel transport carriage. The parts are crisply cast in resin. It is a detailed model of the weapon on its own, suited as a companion to figures and dioramas of the Second World War.
The Solothurn S-18/1000 was a large-caliber anti-tank rifle developed at the Swiss Solothurn arms works, owned by the Rheinmetall-Borsig group. The weapon entered service with a number of armies and was also used to a limited extent by German soldiers during the Second World War. Because of its weight it was moved on a wheeled carriage.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue with super glue. Sand the fine parts with your airways protected. The metal surfaces come out with a dark ground, drybrushing and fine rubbing, and the wooden parts with period wood shades.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
