Aber 1:35 photo-etched grilles for the JS-2 and JSU-122/152 is a fine metal set that replaces the plastic covers of the cooling openings with faithful mesh.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Aber photo-etched grilles are a photo-etch set in 1:35 scale from the Polish manufacturer Aber. It is not a model of a vehicle but a metal accessory for plastic models of the Soviet JS-2 heavy tank and the JSU-122 and JSU-152 heavy self-propelled guns. The set replaces the plastic grilles and covers of the cooling openings over the engine compartment.
The plastic covers look flat and have the mesh only suggested. The Aber photo-etched parts replace them with thin see-through mesh, beneath which the structure of the engine compartment shows, so the upper deck looks more faithful. The JS-2, JSU-122 and JSU-152 share a similar chassis, so the set covers all three types.
Nip the parts out of the photo-etched sheet, clean up the tags and make the bends along the pressed grooves. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting, degrease the metal and spray it with a primer.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
