A precisely turned metal gun barrel of the Japanese 47 mm tank gun in 1:35 scale, intended for models of the Type 97 Shinhoto Chi-Ha and Type 1 Chi-He medium tanks. It is not a vehicle model or a kit but an aftermarket replacement part that replaces the plastic barrel with a more faithful metal one.
Turned metal has a perfectly circular section and a sharp, symmetrical muzzle without mold seams. The high-velocity 47 mm gun was among the best that Japanese tanks carried during the Second World War, and a straight metal gun barrel gives it the look it deserves.
The original plastic barrel is cut off, a hole is drilled on the axis in the remaining part and the metal gun barrel is glued in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The metal is degreased before painting and treated with a base color.
The replacement part is supplied on its own. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
