The set combines cast plaster parts, resin elements and photo-etched metal; the surface faithfully imitates render, stone surrounds and the varied architectural detail of a Mediterranean building.
The facade of an Italian building makes an elegant background for a diorama from the Italian campaign of the Second World War. You place a tank, a vehicle or figures in 1:35 scale in front of it and you get a believable urban scene. This is the front section, ideal for placing along the wall of a display case.
Glue the plaster parts with white glue or cyanoacrylate glue, and fill the gaps with putty. Seal the absorbent surface before painting. Lay the base tones of the render and the stone down with an airbrush, then bring the texture out with washes, drybrushing and pigments. Glue the resin and photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
