An injection-molded plastic kit of the light Italian PUMA wheeled fighting vehicle in the 4x4 form. The set contains parts on several sprues, separate upper and lower hull sections, rubber tires and photo-etched parts; the model is built from individual parts and is meant to be glued and painted.
The PUMA is a family of light wheeled armored vehicles developed in Italy in 4x4 and 6x6 versions. It serves to carry a crew and for reconnaissance and support tasks, and it is notable for its small dimensions and good mobility. The vehicles are used by the Italian army and have been deployed on overseas missions as well.
First assemble and fine-tune the axles and the chassis, and only then close the hull. Fit the rubber tires once the rims have been painted. For Italian camouflage as well as single-color schemes, an airbrush over a primer works well, together with washes to bring out the detail and fine dust pigments on the lower areas.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
