A set of masks for spraying the camouflage onto a model of the Junkers Ju 87 G Stuka in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Junkers Ju 87 G was the anti-tank version of the dive bomber known as the Stuka. Instead of a bomb load it carried a pair of guns of 37 mm caliber in pods under the wings, and it was used against armored vehicles on the Eastern Front. The cranked wing and the fixed landing gear with its wheel spats make the Ju 87 a machine you will not confuse with anything else.
It is a set of masks for spraying the camouflage onto a Ju 87 G model in 1:35 scale. The masks define the shape of the patches and the transitions, so the pattern does not have to be drawn freehand or masked off improvised from paper and tape. The result is repeatable and the edges of the camouflage come out the same all over the model.
First spray the base shade and let it cure properly. Only then stick the masks onto a clean and degreased surface, press them down carefully along the edges and spray thin coats perpendicular to the surface, so that the paint does not get under the edge. Lift the masks off shortly after the paint has dried, while the layer is still flexible, and help yourself with tweezers. The order of the shades and the placing of the individual masks are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The set suits anyone who wants the camouflage sharply bounded and precise, and also modelers who do not yet dare to spray a complex pattern freehand.
The set completes a kit, which it does not hold. Paints and glue are not in the package, unless stated otherwise.
