A set of color raised decals from the brand Kelik for a model of the off-road truck KAMAZ-4310 in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit of the vehicle but an accessory: the decals are applied to the parts from the box and give them printed coloring and a three-dimensional structure. Against the usual interior sets, this one covers, according to the name, the external elements as well, that is typically the plates, the lettering and the small instrument surfaces on the body. According to the name the set is listed as universal, not tied to a single particular kit; even so, compare the shape and the dimensions of the parts with your model before building.
The KAMAZ-4310 is an off-road truck with all six wheels driven, built from the end of the 1970s. Its identifying marks are the short cab over the engine with a tilting front section, the great travel of the axles and the flatbed cargo body with a tarpaulin. The vehicle was used in a civilian as well as an army form and in both cases it still turns up in many countries to this day, often in versions with special bodies. The cab is fairly austere, but that is precisely why the instrument panel and the small plates stand out on a model.
Spray the areas under the decals with primer, then with the base shade and coat them with gloss varnish: on a smooth glossy surface the decal settles without silvering. Soak the decal briefly in lukewarm water, slide it off the paper and settle it with a soft brush; the raised layer is thicker than that of an ordinary decal, so go carefully with aggressive softeners. On a truck it pays to let the interior dry through thoroughly, because the cab is usually closed up and after that there is no way back. Finally cover the external elements with matte varnish and unify them with the weathering of the body.
The set is supplied as a sheet of decals. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
