A movie camera 1:35 by Plusmodel: ten resin parts for a scene with a war correspondent. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A war correspondent with a camera is a subject that gives a diorama a story at once: somebody here is not only fighting but also filming it. A camera on a tripod also forms a striking vertical element for the whole composition to lean on. According to the manufacturer the set contains ten resin parts, so it is enough for the accessories around it as well. It is not a vehicle kit but an accessory for a scene.
The package contains ten resin castings in 1:35 scale. Figures, paints and glue are not included. The parts have to be cut from the casting blocks.
First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears from the surface, otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and true the surfaces up with a file, and sand with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. The body of a camera used to be of painted metal and leather, so tell the matte covering apart from the shinier metal parts. Finish the lens off with a drop of clear varnish, which creates the impression of glass. Set the tripod so that all three legs make contact, otherwise the scene looks unstable.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
