A small stove was part of the equipment of makeshift billets, guardrooms and workshops: it took up a minimum of space, warmed up quickly and its flue could be led out anywhere. On a diorama it therefore says at once that somebody lived in the place, while taking up only a scrap of the area. According to the manufacturer the set contains seven parts for one stove. It is not a vehicle or building kit but an accessory for the interior of a scene.
The package contains seven parts from which you assemble one stove in 1:35 scale. Furniture, figures, paints and glue are not included.
First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears from the surface, otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and true the surfaces up with a file, and sand with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. Paint cast iron dark gray rather than black, and finish the surface off with graphite powder or a very fine dry brush in a metal shade. Add soot and a hint of rust at the door, because that is where the metal scorches most.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
