King Tiger Ardennes Front 1:35 from Tamiya is a plastic kit of the heavy German tank with the Henschel turret and a bonus motorcycle and figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the heavy German Tiger II tank in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. The model captures a machine from the period of the final German offensive in the Ardennes at the close of 1944. The set offers the Henschel turret, Zimmerit texture molded directly into the parts, two versions of the gun mantlet, a motorcycle and several figures. Check the exact contents against the enclosed instructions.
The Tiger II, nicknamed King Tiger or Königstiger, was the heaviest German tank put into series service in the Second World War. It combined steeply sloped armor with a long 88 mm gun of high penetrating power. During the Ardennes offensive it served with heavy tank units; its mobility, however, was limited by considerable weight and fuel consumption.
Assemble the running gear and the lower hull before you close the hull up. Pick the Zimmerit texture out only gently with shading, so that it does not disappear. Separate the German camouflage with careful masking; washes and pigments for dust and mud complete the weathering. The bonus motorcycle and the figures bring a diorama to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
