The plastic kit Leopard 1 in 1:35 scale from Revell - the German main battle tank of the postwar era.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Leopard 1 main battle tank in 1:35 scale from Revell. The model has a rotating turret and a gun that can be elevated, the tracks are flexible vinyl, and optional parts for the German, Belgian and Dutch versions are usually available. Decals for Bundeswehr units and other users are included. It is an unassembled and unpainted kit to be built with ordinary cement for plastic.
The Leopard 1 was the first tank developed in Germany after the Second World War and it entered service in the 1960s. It put the emphasis on mobility and firepower rather than on heavy armor; it carried a 105 mm gun of British origin and became one of the most widely used Western tanks of its day, used by a number of NATO armies.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the suspension before you close up the hull. The vinyl tracks can be glued with cyanoacrylate. We recommend a primer as a base, applying the camouflage with an airbrush and finishing the surface with washes and pigments for dust and mud effects; bring out the engraved lines with a panel liner.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
