The Aber 1:35 photo-etched detail set for the M8 Greyhound armored car is a metal accessory for refining the plastic model of this American reconnaissance vehicle. It is not a model but a set of parts to improve one.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of fine photo-etched brass parts from the Polish manufacturer Aber. It is not a kit and not a finished model: it is an aftermarket accessory for plastic models of the American M8 Greyhound light armored car in 1:35 scale. Acetate film for the vision ports and a small decal sheet are usually included as well. The photo-etch adds details to the model that injection-molded plastic cannot manage.
The photo-etch can replace and add fenders, grilles, brackets, hatch hinges, tool clamps, protective baskets and other small features. The resulting surface is more finely broken up and closer to the real vehicle, which served as a reconnaissance armored car.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface and make the folds over a ruler or in a photo-etch bender. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with epoxy. Degrease the metal before gluing and treat it with a primer for metal before painting.
This is a metal accessory for a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
