An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern American main battle tank in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The 5 in 1 set makes it possible to build several Abrams variants from one box, as the modeler chooses. The box holds parts in gray plastic, a photo-etched fret, clear parts for the optics and a choice of plastic tracks assembled from the sprues or one-piece rubber tracks.
The M1 Abrams is an American main battle tank with a gas turbine and a 120 mm gun in the M1A1 and M1A2 versions. It is marked by heavy composite armor, high mobility and a modern fire control system, which gives it the upper hand even in reduced visibility. Engineer and mine clearing attachments such as a mine roller or a plow widen its use to safe passage through mined ground and support for advancing units.
Decide before you start which of the variants you will build, because they differ in turret, armament and attachments; the 5 in 1 set can be built as an M1A1, an M1A2, an M1A1 with a mine roller, an M1A1 with a mine plow or in the engineer form. You can choose the plastic tracks assembled from the sprues or the more convenient one-piece rubber tracks. A primer and an airbrush suit the build; bring the modern machine to life with fine washes, dust pigments, a hint of wear and dust on the running gear.
