A detailed model of the American anti-tank gun of 37 mm caliber in 1:35 scale. It is an all-resin kit from the Czech maker CMK, that is, a set of finely cast resin parts from which you assemble the complete gun together with its carriage. Given the character of the material it is meant rather for more experienced modelers.
The M3 anti-tank gun of 37 mm caliber was the first American purpose-built anti-tank gun fielded in larger numbers. It entered service in the early 1940s and became the standard anti-tank weapon of the infantry of the US Army. It was light enough to be towed even by jeep-type vehicles. During 1943 it was gradually replaced in front-line units by more powerful weapons of larger caliber.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the mold release residue is removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutter, not by snapping them. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways while sanding. Apply primer before painting; an airbrush comes in handy for an even coat. Fine-tune the patina with washes and pigments for dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
