The American M4 Sherman medium tank 1:35 – a Royal Model photo-etched detail set for refining a plastic model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The best-known Allied tank of the Second World War has plenty of small items on its hull that can be captured in plastic only approximately: grab handles, clips for tools, grilles and thin sheet-metal covers. These are exactly what this set from the Italian manufacturer aims at. The model is bought separately.
The Sherman was not the most heavily armed or the best armored machine of its day, but it could be built in enormous numbers, it was easy to repair and it was reliable. That is what decided matters. It served with American, British and Soviet units, it fought in North Africa, Italy, Normandy and the Pacific, and in many armies it lasted long after the war. It existed in dozens of forms: welded and cast hulls, gasoline and diesel engines, a 75 mm gun and the later quick-firing 76 mm weapon.
It pays off most where the model is seen close up, that is on the upper surface of the hull and around the turret. The metal grab handles will take real accessories hung on them, so you can add a rolled tarpaulin from kitchen foil or some crates to them. Start the painting with a primer and then apply the olive shade in several thin coats.
These are metal accessories for a kit that you obtain separately; paints are not enclosed.
