A more extensive accessory from the Italian workshop of Royal Model that combines etched metal with castings. It is precisely with this vehicle that it pays off: the fighting compartment is open at the top, so the viewer sees into it, and a thin shield of etched metal replaces plastic walls of a scale equivalent of several centimeters of steel. Neither the chassis nor the hull is included.
When in 1941 the Wehrmacht ran into Soviet tanks that its anti-tank guns could not cope with, it reached for captured 7.62 cm guns and set them on the available chassis of a light tank of Czechoslovak design. The result was a tall, narrow vehicle with no cover on top, with good firepower and wretched protection for the crew. It was committed on the Eastern Front and in North Africa and it was a typical stopgap that moved the war on from tanks to tank destroyers.
Bend the etched metal in a bending tool or between two razor blades and mark the edge in advance with a blunt needle along the scored line. Free the castings of casting remains and degrease them before spraying. Brass needs a primer of its own, otherwise the paint will come off it during handling. An open compartment deserves shading, because daylight falls into it from above and the walls stay dark.
