An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet heavy wheeled tractor MAZ-537 in its late production build in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The package contains the parts of the cab and the hood, a photo-etched fret and eight rubber tires; go by the instructions for the exact part count.
The MAZ-537 is a Soviet heavy wheeled tractor from the Minsk Automobile Plant, meant to tow lowbed trailers with armored vehicles and missile systems as well as for other demanding transport. Its eight-wheel layout and powerful engine let it tow extreme loads. The late production version captures the form of the vehicle from a later phase of series production.
Finish the cab and the hood with their cast detail and their interior before you close the assembly up; paint the eight wheels separately. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, even the base out with a primer and apply the color with an airbrush. The large surfaces come alive with washes and dust pigments. The set offers schemes for several armies, including the Soviet one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
