The bottles are normally molded in clear plastic, so they look like glass; the crates can be filled with bottles and stacked on one another. A decal sheet with labels is usually included. The parts have to be put together and painted.

Glue the clear bottles with cyanoacrylate glue so that they do not fog, and leave them transparent, toning them only lightly. The wood of the crates comes out well after a base coat in a wood shade, a dark wash in the gaps and a dry brush on the edges. Apply the labels as decals onto a smooth surface.
