This is a photo-etched detail set from the brand Voyager Model, not a kit. It holds fine photo-etched grilles for the engine compartment and the cooling openings of a model of the modern Russian 152mm 2S19 self-propelled howitzer. The set replaces the solid or mesh plastic covers of the base kit and is intended for models in 1:35 scale, to which it gives a realistic three-dimensional look. The set is intended for the Zvezda 3630 kit.
The 2S19 Msta-S is a Russian 152mm self-propelled howitzer brought into service at the end of the 1980s. It combines a rotating turret with a powerful gun and a tracked chassis derived from tank vehicles, which gives mobile artillery support. It serves in the Russian army and in a number of other countries.
Glue the photo-etched grilles flat and without waviness, with a minimum of super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the metal and prime it before painting. It is a good idea to darken the space under the grilles beforehand, so that their three-dimensional depth stands out.
This is a detail accessory set. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
