This brass photo-etched set serves to improve the detail of plastic models of the German R-12 motorcycle in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of the motorcycle but an accessory that replaces and refines selected plastic parts with etched components. The basic model is not included in the package.
Photo-etch adds thin elements that cannot be cast faithfully in plastic: fenders, covers, clips, brackets and other small details of the motorcycle and of its sidecar trailer where fitted. The model thus gains a fineness that plastic parts cannot offer. The accessory is designed for the Zvezda 3607 kit.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard mat, bend them with a photo-etch bending tool and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Tweezers help with the tiny parts. Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with primer for metal.
This is a detail set, not a model. The basic kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
