Monk (WW2 era) is a resin figure of a monk in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker Mantis Miniatures.
Responsibility details are not available.
An unpainted resin figure of a monk in his habit in 1:35 scale. It is a civilian figure for finishing a diorama from the period of the Second World War, not a kit of equipment. The casting is in gray resin and calls for assembly and painting.
Clergy and members of religious orders were a natural part of European towns and villages during the war as well. A figure of a monk gives a scene a civilian dimension and a contrast to the soldiers and the equipment, and it suits monastery, town and country scenes alike.
Wash the parts free of release agent and cut the casting blocks off. Glue the joints with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer; on the habit acrylics or oils with fine shading of the folds work well, and on the skin thin coats and glazes. Sand resin with respiratory protection.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
