A plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from the line devoted to the Indian Wars in the American West. The set faithfully captures Native American warriors and is a rewarding subject for scenes from the Wild West. The figures combine perfectly with other sets in the same line and allow a larger scene to be built.
The period of the Indian Wars covers the clashes between the native nations of the Great Plains and settlers or the army during the nineteenth century. The warriors of the Plains tribes were famous for their horsemanship and their fighting skill. It is exactly such scenes from the open prairie that this set conveys.
Separate the figures from the sprues and clean up the mold lines. Glue with cement for plastic. Build the skin tone up in layers with lightening, and bring the clothing and the accessories alive with subtle shades of leather, feathers and beads. Dry weathering will bring out the stitching and the texture of the materials. Feathers, beads and fringed sashes are characteristic of these figures, so it pays to give them time, a fine brush and several shades. Restrained accenting of the edges will help the small ornaments and the kit stand out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
