This is a 3D printed resin accessory set from the brand T-Rex Studio, not a kit of the tank. It holds one disassembled drive sprocket in variant B for models of the German Panther tank in 1:35 scale. The finely printed sprocket makes it possible to show the toothed sprocket set down beside the vehicle, for example on a diorama during a repair, or to replace the standard part with a more faithful copy.
The drive sprocket transmits the power of the engine to the tracks and is one of the heavily loaded components of the suspension. On the Panther tank it had a characteristic shape and was taken off during maintenance or after damage, which is a popular subject on dioramas depicting field repairs.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent because of the print resin residue. Carefully cut off the print supports and clean up the surfaces. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and apply a primer before painting. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
This is a detail accessory set. The model of the tank itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
