This is an accessory set, not a vehicle model. It contains plastic parts for propane and butane gas cylinders in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian brand Miniart. It serves to populate dioramas: workshops, garages, field kitchens, the cargo beds of trucks, welding stations or civilian scenes.
Gas cylinders for liquefied gases are among the most common equipment of workshops and building sites, and in model scale they play an important role, because they give a scene its sense of size and its story. Their shape, a cylinder with a convex bottom, a collar and a valve, is easy to recognize, and that is exactly why a viewer spots an inaccurate build or a coarse surface on them straight away.
The parts are small, so separate them with a sharp cutter and sand the seams on the cylinder carefully, because every irregularity shows on a smooth surface of revolution. Paint the cylinders separately, ideally sprayed while held on a wooden stick or a wire pushed into the valve. A saturated base color only looks convincing with wear: abrasions and chipped paint on the bottom and the collar, dust in the lower part, darkened traces around the valve. Credibility goes up when the cylinders are not all the same, that is when they differ in the degree of wear and in shade.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
