An injection-molded plastic kit of the early German Panzerkampfwagen IV medium tank in the Ausf. C version in 1:35 scale from Dragon. The set is usually well equipped, including photo-etched parts and an accurately shaped running gear with the early narrow tracks. It captures the prewar and early wartime appearance of the Panzer IV and will appeal to modelers interested in the beginnings of this vehicle.
The Panzer IV Ausf. C is one of the early versions of the most widespread German medium tank of the Second World War. It carried the short-barreled 7.5 cm KwK 37 gun with an L/24 barrel intended to support the infantry, and thinner armor than the later configurations. These tanks served at the beginning of the war and represent an early stage of development, from which the more powerful long-gun variants later grew.
Finish the running gear and the lower part of the turret before you close up the hull. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement and the fine photo-etched parts with super glue. Apply the basic gray finish of early German equipment with an airbrush over a primer and add washes and pigments that bring out the rivets and the dusty running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
