The Pz.Kpfw.IV is the most produced German tank of the Second World War and a machine that went through the whole conflict. The Ausf. G and Ausf. H configurations belong to its late forms: both carry the long 7.5 cm gun, on the Ausf. H in the version with a barrel 48 calibers long. The Ausf. H also received thicker frontal armor and usually side skirts as well, meant to protect the machine against anti-tank rifle rounds. It is in this form that the Pz.Kpfw.IV is best known and most often built.
A kit with a full interior also contains the inside of the machine: the fighting compartment, the ammunition stowage and the engine and transmission section. That means more parts, a longer build and above all the need to plan the sequence ahead. Decide in advance whether you will leave the hatches open, or whether you will permanently expose part of the armor; otherwise you will do work that in the end will not be seen.
Paint and shade the interior before you close up the hull; afterwards you will not get inside again. The inside of the fighting compartment on German vehicles is usually in a light shade, so that it is easier to see in there, while the bottom of the hull is in a protective coat. Work through it section by section and between them always test-fit dry to check that the hull still closes.
Paints, glue and filler are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
