A plastic kit of the German Panzerkampfwagen IV medium tank in the Ausf. H version in 1:35 scale from Dragon. The model offers fine surface detail, a carefully worked turret and hull and the typical fittings of this version. The package contains a decal sheet for several marking options.
The Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H was the most numerously produced version of the German Panzer IV medium tank. It was armed with the long 7.5 cm KwK 40 L/48 gun, which gave it decent penetrating power against Allied vehicles. The H version was characterized by the side armor skirts (Schürzen) protecting the hull and the turret, and on part of the production by the anti-magnetic Zimmerit coating. The Panzer IV formed the backbone of the German armored units on every front.
First assemble and fine-tune the running gear and the interior of the fighting compartment, and only then close the hull up. Use liquid cement for plastic, a primer and an airbrush. The side skirts and the tools on the fenders are rewarding features for washes and pigments; a final patina of dust and mud gives the tank a realistic look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
