This product is not a kit or a finished model — it is a set of photo-etched metal parts from the Polish maker Aber for building a faithful right-hand external stowage bin on 1:35 models of the German light half-tracks Sd.Kfz. 250, 252 and 253.
The Sd.Kfz. 250, 252 and 253 were a family of German light half-tracks sharing a common chassis. The external stowage bins carried the crew's equipment. The photo-etched set replaces the coarse plastic bin with thin metal with sharp edges and fine hinges, and it makes it possible to build the bin open as well.
Bond the photo-etched sheet with super glue (cyanoacrylate), or solder it for strength. Make the bends in a photo-etch bender or over a metal ruler. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer. Working with the small hinges takes patience.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
