Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from MiniArt captures the German RSO/01 tracked tractor in its early production form (Early Prod.) together with the 7.5 cm Pak 40 anti-tank gun and crew figures. The box contains photo-etched parts, clear parts and decals for four marking options. The whole thing therefore offers a complete combat scene of tractor and gun in one.
The Raupenschlepper Ost (RSO), meaning tracked tractor East, was a simple fully tracked artillery and supply tractor of the Wehrmacht, designed for the heavy terrain, the mud and the snow of the Eastern Front. The RSO/01 version had a closed sheet-metal cab and was powered by an air-cooled Steyr V8 gasoline engine. The 7.5 cm Pak 40 anti-tank gun of 75 mm caliber was one of the most widespread and most effective German anti-tank guns of the Second World War.
Assemble and paint the running gear and the inner spaces before you close up the hull and the superstructure. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, spray the parts with a primer and cover them with an airbrush. The tracks and the underside of the chassis will stand out with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects; attach the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
