An injection-molded plastic kit of the 9S32 tracking radar, which is part of the Russian S-300V surface-to-air missile system. The model faithfully captures the tracked chassis as well as the massive antenna, which is produced from new tooling. The set is supplemented with photo-etched parts. Take the exact package contents from the instructions.
The 9S32 (Grill Pan in the NATO code) is the tracking and guidance radar of the S-300V system on a tracked chassis. It handles the detection and tracking of aerial targets at long range and passes the data to the launcher vehicles of the whole system. The massive rotating antenna is its characteristic hallmark.
First assemble the running gear and the hull, then the antenna system. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend a primer base, spraying with an airbrush and weathering with dust and washes, which will bring out the detail of the chassis.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
