GAZ-233115 Tiger-M Sagged Wheel Set 1:35 - resin wheel set, Meng

A cast resin wheel set from Meng in 1:35 scale, intended for the Russian GAZ-233115 Tiger-M armored car. It is neither a kit of the whole vehicle nor a model in its own right - it is an accessory for more experienced modelers. Its key feature is the sag: the tires are shaped so that they settle slightly and bulge at the bottom, as on a real heavy vehicle standing on its wheels. The rims are cast separately from the tires, which makes painting easier. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.

Use and tips

• The set is intended for the GAZ-233115 Tiger-M model in 1:35 scale - it replaces the standard wheels from the box with a more faithful, weighted version.
• Before gluing, wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue and cut off the casting blocks.
• Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate); ordinary cement for plastic will not bond resin.
• When sanding, use respiratory protection and work in a well ventilated space.
• Fit the wheels so that the sagged part meets the ground - otherwise the effect loses its point.
