This is a turned metal detail accessory, not a kit of the tank. It contains the barrel of the 85 mm tank gun for models of the Soviet T-34/85 medium tank in the mid-production version. The metal barrel replaces the plastic part, is perfectly aligned, has no casting seams and a faithfully rendered muzzle. Intended for 1:35 scale.
The T-34/85 was the ultimate production medium tank of the Red Army in the Second World War. Compared with the older T-34 with its 76 mm gun it received a larger three-man turret and a more powerful 85 mm gun, which improved its fight against the heavier German tanks. The tank stood out for its balance of armor, firepower and mobility and served for decades after the war.
Clean any residue off the metal barrel and degrease it. Glue it into the model with cyanoacrylate glue or two-part epoxy, because ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on metal. Before painting, roughen the surface with a fine abrasive or use a primer for metal, so that the paint holds well. The muzzle can be carefully bored out or brought out with a dark shade.
The part is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
