This is a detail-up set from Royal Model, not a kit of the vehicle. It combines resin castings, photo-etched metal and plastic profiles that complete and refine the detail on a model of the early form (Alte Ausführung) of the light half-track carrier Sd.Kfz. 250/1 in 1:35 scale.
The Sd.Kfz. 250 was a German light half-track armored personnel carrier of the Second World War. The early Alte form had a more angular welded hull with a greater number of faceted surfaces. The 250/1 version served as a universal carrier for infantry and reconnaissance.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent and cut the casting blocks off, and bend the photo-etched parts in a bender. Bond everything with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the whole assembly before varnishing and spray a base coat. Bring out the interior and the fine details with washes and a dry brush, and dust the running gear with pigments.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
