Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German heavy tank Pz.Kpfw.VI Ausf. E Tiger I in its late production version (Sd.Kfz.181) in 1:35 scale from Rye Field Model. The set contains plastic parts, a photo-etched sheet and a decal sheet and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Workable link tracks are included; the set does not contain a hull interior.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War armed with an 88 mm gun, famous for its thick armor and its firepower. The late production version differed from the earlier ones in a number of changes, among them all-steel road wheels and simplified equipment on the hull and the turret. Put into action from 1942, the tank was among the most feared combat vehicles of its day.
Assemble the workable link tracks patiently; it is a longer but striking part of the build. Paint the running gear and the lower hull before closing them up. Apply a primer to the model, then the covering shade and the camouflage scheme with an airbrush; bring out the texture of Zimmerit armor coating and the weathering with washes and pigments. Glue the photo-etched parts with super glue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
