This product is not a vehicle kit but a photo-etched metal detail set from the Polish brand Aber. It holds fine nickel-brass parts with which you replace the coarse plastic side armor skirts with metal sheet of true scale thickness, including the hangers and brackets. It is intended for models of the Panther Ausf.G tank and the Jagdpanther tank destroyer in 1:35 scale.
The plastic Schürzen from a kit tend to be too thick and too flat. Photo-etched parts give the skirts a true thickness and make it possible to suggest bending, dents and missing pieces naturally, as was common on vehicles in service. The result markedly raises the realism of the vehicle's silhouette.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a glass surface and bend them in a photo-etch bending tool or between two razor blades. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); larger surfaces can also be soldered. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer for metal, otherwise the paint holds poorly.
This is a metal detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
