1:35 Sikorsky CH-54 Tarhe exhaust is a resin set of exhausts for a model of the American heavy crane helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory set of exhausts for a model of the American heavy helicopter CH-54 in 1:35. It is not a model of the helicopter but a replacement part. Exhausts are among the places where the difference between plastic and a casting shows most, because they should have an open mouth with a thin wall, while the plastic part is usually blind and carries a parting line around its circumference.
Cut the parts off the casting blocks with a fine saw and sand the cut surface. Wash the resin in lukewarm water with detergent before painting, because of the mold release residue. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The metallic look of the exhausts comes out best by layering dark steel shades supported by a fine pigment, and the exhaust traces should be drawn in the direction of the airflow, not across it. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
Fit the exhausts only after the surrounding area has had its base coat. Masking heat-stained metal against a gray cowling is considerably more laborious than fitting a finished part onto a painted fuselage.
The set contains only the exhausts. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
